It’s me, Mario!

So to start off this weekend of different and kooky cakes, I thought I’d share one of my favourite weddings cakes that I’ve ever seen. The detail is incredible and so accurate, making a fun and exciting wedding cake with a Mario Kart theme.

What do you guys think? Would you have something like this at your wedding?

Shabby Chic

Rustic doesn’t mean the cake needs to be brown and covered in leaves, look at this garden themed shabby chic style wedding cake and other yummy sweet things. I love this one as it looks so simple yet has such a warming and sweet effect, and is perfect for a summer wedding.

Here’s another rustic cake that I love, it would look stunning at a wedding hosted in a barn type location in the autumn, don’t you think?

Both images that I’ve used are from http://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-photos/cakes/rustic, there are so many great ideas on there that are bound to inspire!
